In this week’s Friday Finds, we’re going to take a look at some of the ways that you can beef up your social media strategy. With so many social media tools and tips available online, it can be overwhelming to find the best solutions for you. This week, I’m sharing resources where you can find: 100+ tips on social sharing, 30+ of the best social media monitoring tools for businesses, tips on improving your LinkedIn and Triberr strategies and recommendations for creating a powerful social media bio. You may have read some of these great articles already but (if you haven’t), you’ll want to.
This November, Bing announced that they have added the “Connected Pages” feature to Bing Webmaster Tools. What this means is that you can now claim your social media site pages (such as Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter) and connect them to the websites that you own or control. This additional data will appear in your Bing Webmaster Tools dashboard and it will provide more insight to help you with your SEO and social media strategies.
What are some of your favorite social media tools? Check out this week’s #FridayFinds for a link to a great recap article of the 2013 Social Media Success Summit where forty four social media experts shared their expertise and favorite tools. Also, do you understand Google’s TOS (terms of service) as they pertain to the use of your name and image in advertisements? You may be surprised what the default setting is. Then, to round out this week’s shares, we’ll take a look at WordPress themes that suite specific niche targets.
