You can also download it from Michele’s blog here.
Note: This eBook is a large publication. So, it may take a while to download. Please be patient… I promise it’s worth it!
Have you published an eBook yet? Are you planning to? I’m extremely grateful to Michelle and the other 30 bloggers who contributed to this effort. This eBook is a perfect example of the circle-of-friends that I talked about in my most recent post. (Michelle came up with the idea and I heard about it from another blogger.) I’m certain that if you’ve been following my blog, you’ll recognize some of the names of the other bloggers who contributed to this effort.
Hi Glenn,
I knew many of these bloggers before I collaborated with them but I didn’t know all of them. Since Michele published this, I believe I’ve connected with all of them. It was a great opportunity to meet other bloggers as well as build awareness of my own blog. Good luck reading it. I’m sure you’ll find some great ideas that you can use.

Great tips.. I’m always excited to work for people who are still starting to do business online. I know gathering target customers is a hard thing to do because of so many prerequisites and setups. But I enjoy doing it and once it’s starting to grow – there is a very nice feeling of satisfaction!
Hi John,
I was just over at Michele’s blogs and there’s plans in the works for another Synergy book. It was such a great experience and I met such awesome bloggers that I hope to participate again.

That’s a good thing for you Sherryl, I do hope you’ll be able to participate again and share to us what it was like.
We have been thinking about setting up a blog to help get traffic from search engines but it is so hard to build a blog for niche e commerce sites. I an not sure how we can produce enough content. Any tips?
Hi Joe,
Do you know who your target customer is? I looked at your website and it looks like you may have different customers based on your product line. For example, the elderly may be your best market for your shopping carts, families on the go may be interested in your beach carts and obviously fishermen.
I didn’t spend a lot of time on your site but it doesn’t look like you’re selling the “benefits” of your carts. Why do people need/want them? Since your target customers are diverse, I might choose to blog about something like “mobility” and I’d probably target active baby boomers.
Once you narrow down who you’re writing for, then it should be easy to identify topics that interest them. Check out some other sites for general topics. Follow other bloggers online. Pick up newspapers and magazines that your target customer would read. (What sort of articles are in there.) Don’t forget to check out what your competitors are doing too. (You may be ahead of them with the blog idea.) Let me know if you want more ideas. I love brain-storming! 🙂
Great stuff. Thank you for this informative and “greatly needed” blog.
You have covered alot and have given bloggers information to help them achieve success.
Thank you for this gift.
Thanks Marylin! I’m glad you’re enjoying my blog. There’s a wonderful group of people here. Feel free to join the conversation. There’s so much that we can learn from each other.

When I encounter the word “Synergy”, I remember the name of my thesis team when I was in college (I don’t need to mention the exact team name). We named our team as that because we believed that as we work together we could produce better results. In regards to this book “The Synergy of Business and Blogging”, it only means one thing, a person who finished reading it he or she will achieve a greater SUCCESS in both business and blogging.

P.S. I will download it. Thanks.
Thanks Gregory. I hope you enjoy it. There’s a lot of info there and it’s a great way to find other bloggers to learn from.
Great ida Sherryl!!
Am downloading it as I write this. Will read it and give you feed back.
Thanks Catarina. I was fortunate to learn about this opportunity from another blogger who I follow. She was submitting one of her articles and she suggested that I join in.
Thank you Sherryl and Michelle! It is touching to find individuals like you who share knowledge to enrich others. Hope it comes back to you one hundred fold!
Thanks Keyuri. There is such a wonderful group of bloggers out there and I count you in as one of them!

Sherryl, I’m also one of the bloggers included in the book. I think Michele did an excellent job. The book looks great and it has a lot of quality content.
Thanks for dropping by John. I just followed you on Twitter today. (I think I followed an RT by someone else I follow.) When I followed you, I didn’t realize that you were one of the contributors. (I’m trying to list all of the bloggers that contributed and now I’ve tagged you too.)
Michele did an outstanding job. The bookmarks that Rick LaPoint added are really helpful too. It makes it much easier to navigate. This is definitely not your average free eBook.
Myron, That’s a great idea. Now that the holidays are over, you should be able to learn more about blogging. I know you want to add a blog to your Kreeters.com site.
Hi Sherryl,
Thank you for sharing with us an ebook that will prove to be very useful for bloggers like me. I’m downloading it as I write a comment here. It sure takes a while to download but I don’t mind as I believe it’s worth it.
Looking forward to reading this tonight!
Thank you very much for sharing with us a FREE ebook!
Johanna, It is a big download. There are a lot of jpg files embedded. It makes it an attractive book as well as informative. 🙂 I hope you get as much out of it as I expect you too.
Downloading in progress…Thanks sharing, Sherryl. I know I can grow the online community I am in now through this valuable resource. May you and the collaborators of this ebook be granted your hearts’ wishes for this wonderful gift. 🙂
– Wes –
Thanks Wes. Good luck growing your community. Michele’s effort is a great resource for that.
Hey Sherryl,
Thank you for the link! I downloaded the book, read it start to finish. Tons of information there. You can bet I’ll be going step by step through the articles. Your PPC post was intriguing and informative. Different customers and landing pages, that was brilliant if you ask me!
Glad you liked it Kathy. My article on PPC was actually the 3rd of a 3-part series. The 1st article of the series http://keepupwiththeweb.com/can-you-run-pay-per-click-ads-without-breaking-the-piggy-bank/ includes some valuable insight from other bloggers in the comment section..
Sherryl, aloha. The book is terrific as was your contribution. What I particuarly like about the book is the opportunity to sit and read different articles then note the blogs I want to visit. Already I have made some wonderful new discoveries. Like you, I think Michele is terrific. In fact, I signed on board with her for her twitter challenge. It will be fun to track out results. Aloha. Janet
Aloha Janet, Thanks for letting me know you’re enjoying the book. I still need to connect with more of the contributing bloggers.
Good for you taking Michele’s twitter challenge. I didn’t sign up because I had missed her start date but I should take it anyways. It would make me tweet more socially and it would definitely be interesting to measure the impact it has.
Sherryl – Wow, thanks a lot for this great looking e-book. I’m know I will learn a lot from 31 successful bloggers. 101 pages sounds like a quick read so hopefully I can absorb everything in within a short time. Thanks again, I really appreciate this.
John,
This e-book is just a sampling of what their blogs are like. Michele set certain parameters of what she was looking to include and then we each submitted one post that represented some of our best work. I think you can get a taste of what our blogs are about and you can learn a little more from our bios. I think it’s a nice introduction to new bloggers. I’m already following quite a few of the other contributors and now I’m looking to learn more about the others.
Hi Sherryl,
Thank you for sharing. 101 pages, hope that I can finish reading soon.
Hi Rose,
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy it. There are a lot of great posts in that book from some awesome bloggers. I count many of them as my online friends and I hope to connect with the rest of them.
Hi Sherryl,
I am looking forward to reading the document you so kindly made available. I am a relatively new blogger (although I’m too old to be new) and I try to absorb as much as I can about blogging and traffic generation. My blog isn’t about blogging, it’s not even about my core prduct, but I seem to find myself reading a lot of blogs in this niche. Thanks again and I hope to return.
Lou Barba
Hi Lou,
Thanks for letting me know that you downloaded our eBook. I think you’ll be happy with it and it’s a great introduction to a lot of awesome bloggers. Please do drop by again. Let us know how you’re doing and if you need any help. Feel free to share your ideas too! I think you’re going to be just fine. 🙂
Hi Sherryl,
Lovely post. Thanks a bunch for the awesome mention, but most of all for participating in the collaboration! It was a such a great mix of amazing bloggers!
Look forward to future ones! 😉
Thank you Michelle for such an awesome opportunity! I am a strong believer in collaboration and supporting each other. This eBook is a perfect example of both of these things. I honestly was unaware of your blog until you announced this effort. (Kimberly Castleberry alerted me to your post and suggested that I participate.) I recognize so many of the names of the other bloggers that contributed.
So, Kudos to you for your hard work. It was your conception and execution that brought this project to fruition. I look forward to working again with both you and many of the other amazing bloggers who contributed. It really is an excellent collection of awesome posts.
